We’re also over at The Good, the Bad, and the Unread today. Starting at 10:00 a.m. this morning, I’m guest-blogging about fun Viking research. Then at 1:00 p.m., Wendy Crutcher will post a review of “The Viking’s Forbidden Love-Slave.”

In other news, my six-year-old had become the king of random remarks. Yesterday in church, communion was over, and the entire congregation was quietly praying. My son was involved in deep thoughts of his own. “Mom,” he whispered.

“Yes?”

(Speaking in a tone of amazement) “Did you know that ‘I’ is always capitalized, even when it’s by itself??

Then he wrote a note to his cousin last night for me to mail. He wrote:

Dear (cousin):

I am so excited to come to your house for Thanksgiving this year. I can’t wait to see you!

P.S.–did you know that all the Thanksgiving turkeys are killed the night before?
