Notre Dame Football
Today is an exciting day in our household. My husband and I are die-hard Notre Dame college football fans (Go Irish!). 
As always, whenever we start a new season, I start getting apprehensive. They are known to over-hype our team and make these eighteen and twenty-year-olds into head cases. I always hope for the best, but we have to be realistic, too. Our team has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory more times than I can count.
But we root for them anyway. We have stero system hooked up to the Fighting Irish marching band, pizza in the oven, and there will likely be popcorn in our future. Here’s hoping for a good kickoff!

I watched a little of that game. How’d it end? You are a true fan, one that sticks with the team no matter what! I’m that way with my Texas Longhorns, my New England Patriots and my Boston Red Sox.
