Babies Eating Mysterious Things
So why is it that you can give a baby a hundred dollars worth of toys, blocks, and safe things to play with, and all they want is to chew on electrical cords?
And dip their hands in the toilet…
And open and close cabinets…
And eat tape…

I remember changing my son’s diaper and finding the darndest things he’d ingested.
What I don’t get is you can have all your outlets covered with the nifty little plugs, but the one you missed in the room no one ever goes into is the one the baby finds and has the ability to find a paperclip (which of course you can never find when you need it) and try and stick it into the outlet. How do they do this?
And you can bet, if there is a bottle with sour milk in it which rolled under somewhere, the baby will find it and drink from it.
