Extra Features
I’ve finally gotten around to updating some of the extra features for my books. For a long time, I’ve been meaning to make pages of all the photographs that inspired me in the MacEgan Brothers series. But between expecting the new baby and finishing the new book (and yes! I’ve sent it off, so I can relax a bit now), I hadn’t had time.
If you click on the For Readers page, you’ll see the new features I’ve added. The first three links are all to the photographs I took while in Ireland. I have a photograph of the Lia Fail stone in Her Irish Warrior, a picture of Ennisleigh (or at least, one I’ve imagined in my mind), a picture of Laochre Fortress, etc. Hope you enjoy them!

Fabulous pics, Michelle. They really help put things in perspective. I didn’t imagine how crude Aileen’s hut would have been on the inside — the stumps for seats. The pallet, yes.
Boy, most of us in western societies are very spoiled today!
BTW, congrats for sending off the new book. Woohoo!

Kim–that’s what I find fascinating…the primitive state of things. But I imagine they did have some wooden furnishings…basic chests, iron pots, clay pottery, etc. Still, it amazes me how dark it was inside.

Wow, great pics! That’s cool to show the “background” of your books. And congrats on sending off the book! yay!!

Congrats on getting the book sent!!

Michelle,
Could you post on the fostering system when you have a chance? I find that all very interesting but am having trouble finding info about it.
I read the Warrior King this weekend and it was great! I’m looking forward to your next release.

Love the pictures! I want to go to Ireland some day.
What’s up with the weird names for castles there, though? Trim is a funny name for a castle and I saw a show awhile about Leap Castle. *g*
