Today’s post
…is over at the Pink Heart Society. I’m talking about writing for Harlequin Historicals, so stop by and visit!
Right now I have a sleeping baby on my lap, a roaring fireplace to keep me warm, and a manuscript to edit. We will not discuss the state of my house and the plethora of burp cloths, receiving blankets, and miscellaneous baby paraphenalia cluttering the downstairs. God help me if the neighbors stop by to visit. They’ll run screaming from the mess.
My grandmother, bless her, just sent me several pounds of Georgia pecans. I’m thinking bourbon balls would be a good use for them…
Maybe if I double the bourbon, no one will notice that I haven’t vacuumed…

Sounds idyllic…well, except the mess, but a sleeping baby and roaring fire have to help all the other things fade away.
Mmm..bourbon balls. Sounds perfect!
Tori Lennox Says:
I think if the neighbors just drop in, they can clean the house themselves if it offends their sensibilities.
Melissa Blue Says:
Oh, I agree with Tori.
And I’ll say it again here congrats on the new baby.

Sounds like a great plan, and I agree with Tori too!
