Winner and a sentimental photo
The winner of Friday’s book giveaway was comment #10! Minna, e-mail me your mailing address, and I’ll send you the autographed copy of Secrets Rising!
Congratulations!
Now for the photo I promised. Here’s my boy, all packed up and ready to go to his first day of kindergarten.
He is loving school, and it’s such fun to see what he remembers from day to day. I asked him yesterday what his favorite thing about school was. His answer? Lunch.
Do you remember your first day of kindergarten? I don’t remember a thing!

Congratulations Minna. Your little boy looks so cute. I remember my first day of kindergarten. I was scared and very shy.

Congrats Minna!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Michelle, he is adorable. I can’t even begin to think of sending my baby girl out yet.
The only thing I remember about kindergarden is waiting outside playing tag while we waited for the bus to pick us up. We went in the mornings, and the other class was in the afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day today.

Remember my first day a school?
Sheesh Michelle, I can’t remember what I did yesterday.

Love the picture, Michelle!
I don’t remember my first day of kindergarten. In fact, the only things I remember about kindergarten at all is lots of snow (we lived in Colorado at the time) and play in which all the “actors” were dogs.

Great pic! Actually I do remember (it’s easier to remember the old stuff than what happened a minute ago lol). New kids to play with and all those toys. The only thing I disliked was having to take a nap on our little rugs that we had to bring in - I was in a morning class and was far from being tired. Obviously it was more for the teacher lol.

I don’t remember my first day of kindergarten, but I remember going with my mother to visit kindergarten the June before. I had never met any other girls named Jean before and there was one in the class. She showed the coat room, and block corner, and all the other important stuff.

Congrats Minna!
I remember my first day…tragically shy and cried for my mom not to leave me there. They had a LOT of trouble out of me because I had been home with my mom up until then and couldn’t bear to be away from my mom. LOL
Estella Says:
There was no kindergarten when I started school.

I sort of remember my first day. One girl threw up in the sink by the door. We had a pretty classroom with windows along one wall, and centers for play, and my teacher, Mrs. Anz, taught us a song about the colors in the rainbow. I remember fat crayons flat on one side and the smell of the plastic play phone.
Weird, I remember very little, but I remember that.
