A UK Release!
I am so excited!
I found out yesterday that Her Irish Warrior will be released in the United Kingdom in December 2007.
Yay! That was a great bit of happy news.
Also, I received revisions on book #2: Her Irish Lover. I seem to have a problem with repetition. I think it’s because in the early stages of my books, I can’t always keep track of what I’ve already written and sometimes I hammer it a little too much.
But anyway, I’m glad my editor liked the book and hopefully I can pull off these revisions. I have a January deadline to get the changes done. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
The kids and I watched “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” tonight. That’s definitely one of my favorite Christmas movies. For more grown-up movies, we like to watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “White Christmas.” How about you? What holiday movies are your favorites?

Jean Says:
Good luck with your revisions, Michelle.
Nienke Says:
Congratulations on the UK release, how exciting. Seems like only yesterday you were still a wannabe published author. Now look at you.
I’m sure you’ll do just fine with the revisions.
Kudos Michelle!

Melissa Mc Says:
Congrats Michelle! I can’t remember when you’re book is out in the US, but the following is something to remember with any release. If your book is released first in the UK and in an earlier year, say 2007 (US version in 2008), you need to enter the RITA for 2007. A few M&B authors got caught a couple years ago when they thought they could enter the US version, but that had come out after a UK version where the year was different. So always check the dates and go with the earlier one even it would be considered a “foreign” copy.
Rene Says:
Congrats on the release date and good luck with the revisions.
My favorite holiday movie is “A Christmas Story.” I saw this in the theater when it was first released and I’ve loved it ever since.
Chris Keach Says:
What do you mean HOPEFULLY you can get the revisions done?!?! You can do it. You know you can.
Awesome news on the UK release.
I love It’s a Wonderful Life, and A Holiday Affair with David James Elliott, but my favorite is A Christmas Carol. I’ll watch any and all versions I can-cartoon, play, Diva’s Christmas Carol, the TNT version, the Alistair Sim 1951 b & w version. I never get tired of that.
Fiona Lowe Says:
