I have a title!

His Chosen Bride now has an alternate title! The book will be called Her Irish Warrior. You guys weren’t far off on your title guessing!

I will write about the crazed sheep soon, but in the meantime, the winner of yesterday’s Medicals is Sharon! (In case we have more than one Sharon, it’s the tagsfran e-mail address). Thanks for entering, Sharon!

Hallowed HuntToday’s giveaway is a copy of The Hallowed Hunt by Lois McMaster Bujold. Post a comment below and tell me if you’ve tried out a new author lately. And yes, the library counts, too. If so, who are you reading right now? I’m reading Suzanne McMinn’s Deep Blue . :book:

My most recent trip to the library I got a mystery by Carol Higgins Clark. She’s the daughter of Mary Higgins Clark. Her female detective Regan Reilly is adorable. Very cute book. Now I want to read the rest of the series. :)

  2. Stacy Says:

    Very Cool!

While we were waiting for our children in the library class, another mother recommended Lyn Hamilton to me so I’m trying a couple of hers.

  3. Nancy Says:

I just finished “Fingersmith” by Sarah Waters. Most compelling … a Gothic love story in many ways.

Congratulations on the new title. It sounds good — made my finger itch to pull it off the shelf.

    Nancy

I just found Lucy Monroe as a new author and read, The Real Deal. I enjoyed it and will be looking for her other books too now. Normally I chose historicals first but I’ve been branching out lately.

  5. Teresa Says:

I like the new title! New author’s yep. I took advantage of Nationals to get some books by authors I’ve never read before. I’m looking forward to reading Ravyn Hart’s The Vampire’s Seduction.

  6. Bonnie Ferguson Says:

Woo Hoo on the new title, Michelle!!!

I recently read Essence of Midnight, a paranormal romance anthology with Julie Kenner, Susan Kearney & Julie Elizabeth Leto. Of the three I’d not read Julie Kenner before, but I really enjoyed all three stories :dancingfool:

  7. Ruby Davis Says:

Just finished Susan Andersen’s book, Shadow Dance. Set in Reno, Nevada, it’s about a serial killer who is killing dancers. I will be reading more of her books.
Congratulations on your title. Now if they will just hurry up and get it on the shelves….After reading and enjoying your blog I am looking forward to reading your book.

  8. Carol Ann Erhardt Says:

I just finished reading Blood Orange, by Drusilla Campbell. It’s about a woman whose daughter is kidnapped, then returned, and she learns she had a big part in what happened. She has to face whether or not to reveal the truth for doing so may risk the possibility of losing her best friend and her husband. Suspenseful and beautifully woven together.

  9. Michelle Says:

Carol Ann–That’s a scary plot to think about! I can’t imagine having even an accidental role in the kidnapping of children.

Ruby and Nancy–thank you! I’m excited that they’re going to release it so soon. Now if they can just get a hunky Irish warrior on the cover, I’ll be thrilled.

Bonnie–Didn’t Julie Kenner write the California Demon and Carpe Demon books? She’s pretty good.

Jeanne–I’ve heard of Lucy Monroe. Can’t think of which title at the moment. Hope you enjoy her!

Teresa–that’s on my TBR list as well. :)

    Stacy–what genre is Lyn Hamilton?

Tori–I think both of the Higgens Clark authors are great!

  10. Bonnie Ferguson Says:

    Yes she did, Michelle

I LOVE the title! I can’t wait for your book to be released in the UK.

  12. Sanjay Says:

I’m reading Naomi Novik’s “Throne of Jade”. My local librarian recommended it highly. It’s the second in a series I believe and although I like to read a series in order, I’m giving this one a try as the others were checked out already! I was just in the right place at the right time to even get this one :-)

  13. chris Keach Says:

I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait for you to get the cover!

Just finished Her Wildest Dreams by Emily McKay, but she’s not a new author. My new author is Kit Frazier. I’m reading her debut novel, Scoop, and so far it’s awesome!

  14. April Says:

    Love the title!

I just started checking out the Tara Janzen series and I love them. One nice thing about catching on to a series late is that there are several out already

  15. Lis Says:

One of the new to me authors I picked up this month is PC Cast. Loving her novel DIVINE BY MISTAKE. Will definitely have to check out her backlist

  16. Nancy Says:

    Sanjay,

The first book of that series was awesome. Be sure to read it no matter what you think of the second. I felt like I was flying throughout the whole book.

    Nancy

  17. Teresa Says:

Great title, Michelle :-) It should fly off the shelves - there are few things more attractive than an Irish accent on a warrior
