Strange and Unusual Facts

Everyone has secrets. :batman: There are probably some weird things about yourself that are too strange to be believed.

So here’s a quick quiz:

Which of the following statements about me are false?

A. I am a freestyle figure skater
B. I was one of the first people to get Prince Charles’ autograph
C. I have eaten dog.
D. I worked for a count in a castle.
E. I played the xylophone for the Pope.
F. I have typeset music in Catholic hymnals.
G. I work part-time as a corporate spy.

What’s something about you that no one else knows, that’s too weird to be believed?

    I was a Las Vegas cocktail waitress.:headbang:

  2. katie Says:

I’m thinking B simply because of your age - he had to be handing out autographs before you were even born!

Hmmm…as to the other… Gee, I’m not sure I can tell!

  3. Michelle Says:

Mary–ooh, that sounds fascinating! Did you meet any er…interesting people while on the job?

Kacey–nope. It wasn’t B. I got his autograph when I was ten years old. He didn’t do autographs…mine was one of the first. He gave another autograph that same day. I made the cover of the Bury St. Edmunds Press newspaper. Of course, the poster he signed was terrible kid artwork, but hey. I still have it. Though instead of Charles, it looks like Urbles…

  4. Larissa Says:

I hope it’s the dog one!

  5. Suzanne Says:

You’ve never worked for a count in a castle!

  6. kacey Says:

Hm..tough call. I know you’ve done the Pope one. Probably the Catholic music one. I know you skate…hey, and you’re a corporate spy. You said you got Urbles siggy. (I would have guessed that one too…I thought you were too young) So that leaves the dog or the count…

  7. LauraP Says:

I’ll bet it’s the dog one.

  8. Amy K. Says:

I was going to guess E, but then I read Kacey’s comments. :) So I’ll go with C, the dog one.

Me, I have no secrets. OK, maybe I do, but I’m too tired to think of one, and I must get back to writing. How’s that for an excuse? :)

  9. Michelle Says:

Sadly, I have eaten dog. Against my will. I was ten months old and we were stationed in Thailand. I had a Thai nanny who fed me a meat stew, unbeknownst to my mother. I was sick all day on it. When my mom questioned the nanny, she admitted what was in it. As you can imagine, Mom was horrified. So am I!! It’s terrible what happens in some of the eastern countries. I shudder to think of it!
